Inspired by… Roadtrips

Ever since I first began reading Elizabeths Brave Adventures around America in her Winnebago I’ve wanted my own road trip, a real one. Not just get in some tiny car and drive around for a few hours. Something that takes you completely out of your comfort zone into the unknown. It’s something that appeals to me so much, the idea that its you, your van and the open road is exciting. It’s totally up to you what you do, where you go and who you’re with. I always imagine myself and Shane doing it, or taking a road trip out to Budapest to see the lovely Katie. Now I can’t legally drive yet but I won’t always be unable to drive, if I just pulled my finger out and got around to doing it instead of always putting it off then I’d be flying it. Road tripping around Europe or even maybe America someday is definitely on my little bucket list. To be perfectly honest the only time I would want to visit America is for the sole purpose of one hell of an amazing road trip.

I stumbled upon yet another beautiful blog all about crafting and country living whilst blog surfing during my lunchtime. The blog, Folkfibers is ran by a girl called Maura and it’s beautiful, go see here! She shared a wonderful video of little snippets from her Road trip which had me wishing for my own. It just makes you want to get your own VW and go off on an amazing adventure. I just had to share the video. Enjoy! XO

DIY: RV Calender

I found this sweet downloadable calender over at Delightfully Tacky last week and thought it was too cute to pass up. So I downloaded it and cut along the edges real careful and stuck them together like I was back in primary school or something ha! It’s adorable and I just LOVE campers! One day I will own my very own….  Until then I have this cute little one to remind me during the month of July ♥
